Dear Yacht Club Estates Resident,                                                                      December 2009

Once again, our Yacht Club Estates Civic Association 9YCECA) has achieved another great year of community improvements.  What an honor to receive the City of St Petersburg's Best Recognized Neighborhood Award for 2009 and best Newsletter Award for 2009.  Thank you to the 240  members and hard working volunteers for their continued support in making our neighborhood a great place to live.  YCECA relies on funding and support from all 367 resident families to maintain and plan improvement for our community.

If you are not a member, please consider joining your Civic Association today.  I might add that YCECA is a voluntary, non-profit organization and the dues we collect pay for approximately 50% of our Association expenses.  The remaining 50% of our expenses are paid by Donation, Newsletter Advertising and Fund Raiser Events.  For your information YCECA expenses include maintenance for Median Landscaping, Lighting, Entrance & Street Signs, Park Benches & Pavers, Utility Bills, Office Supplies, Printing & Postage Fees and help fund community activities such as our Spring Party, Halloween  Parade, Holiday Luminaries, etc.  See the Treasurer's Report for a complete listing.   

Our Association dues still remain at $25.00 per Household per year. In my opinion we should all consider $25.00 a minimal amount to pay for dues in an upscale community such as ours. So please consider contributing more than the minimum amount. Each News letter will reflect new membership categories.

 Bronze $25- $35, Silver $40- $65, Gold $70 - $95 & Platinum over $100

We live in one of Tampa Bay’s prestigious waterfront communities and the volunteers of YCECA are working hard for you to keep it that way!
