Reuben "Sandwich" Balls

INGREDIENTS:

3 oz Cream cheese

Note: Some recipes use Swiss Cheese or a mix of Swiss & Cream

1 tsp Onion minced

16 oz Sauerkraut

12 oz canned Corned Beef Brisket

¼ C Bread Crumbs (rye if possible)

Flour

Egg

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Mix cream cheese, onion, sauerkraut, corned beef and crumbs. Shape into 24 balls.
  • Dip balls in flour, egg and crumbs to coat.
  • Pan fry to brown, cool.
  • Serve warm with Thousand Island Dressing
