Subject: Vandals strike again! Received

I drove by the bench at 79th and 9th about noon today
and immediately noticed the decorative lighting has been
destroyed for the 4th time. I found the severed top on
the ground and picked it up thinking that it could be
reattached at small cost. I left the top on your front
porch by the lighthouse.
Perhaps your previous e-mail saying that the only answer
is to have the decorative lighting removed is spot on.
I wonder, though, if the removal would only direct the
vandals to other targets of opportunity (like the lift
station or other decorative lighting).
I noticed that the City replaced the signs at the bridge
pretty quickly.
