The first round of dredging in YCE and Causeway Isles has been completed.  There were 24 participants who now have deeper water at their properties.  Although the project did have some setbacks, mainly due to dredging equipment availability, longer than expected dredge time frames and extremely low winter tides, the project was successful and proved that dredging in Pinellas County is possible.  For those interested in dredging, Duncan Seawall is gathering participants for a second round.  They anticipate starting the permitting process for this second round sometime around June 15^th.  If you are interested please contact Duncan Seawall as soon as possible at (941) 351-1553 for an estimate.  Please keep in mind that some cost components of the permitting and dredging project are fixed which means the higher number of participants, the lower the cost for each participant.
