Information about the Club:

·         The focus is on fun, safe boating!   We don’t want to make this an overly formal club nor burden any one person with administrative responsibilities.  It was suggested that having a couple families work together in planning a monthly event would be best. 

·         The Boating Club is open to all Yacht Club Estate homeowners so spread the word and invite your neighbors to join you on your boat for an upcoming event.  Feel free to forward this e-mail to your friends or have them contact me directly.

·         We encourage everyone to display a Yacht Club Estates Burgee on a trip  (Contact Shannon to purchase yours!)

·         We’re targeting one activity a month – weather permitting.  Bad weather months could be a club gathering at someone’s home or other designated location to, well, just talk about boating or maybe have a guest speaker!

·         We gather relevant member contact and boat(s) information to facilitate making marina or overnight reservations.  We will not publish this information and anyone can opt out. 

·         That said, we think everyone should have, at a minimum, club member e-mail addresses so that if someone wanted to send an impromptu   “Hey - We’re heading to McDonald’s for breakfast – want to join us?” message, club members could partake.
