The Yacht Club Estates Civic Association of St. Petersburg, FL was incorporated in November 1977, and has been in continuous operation since that time.  Association officers maintain a close dialog with City of St. Petersburg officials to address any issues and solicit city aid for neighborhood improvement projects.  We are a Nonprofit 501c3 Tax Exempt Organization.

There is normally one General Membership Meeting each year (usually held in late January).  An additional meeting may be called when deemed appropriate.  The Board of Directors meets monthly.  Popular neighborhood social events include the annual Spring Party designed with fun for all family members, the Halloween Parade for goblins of all ages, and the semi-annual Wine Socials.  Additional social events are planned from time to time. YCECA committees address Beautification, Membership, Welcoming (of new residents), Crime Watch, Newsletter, Traffic and coordination of the various social events.  Select Committees link for a full listing.

Membership Eligibility

The Association's Charter states that membership is available to home owners and/or permanent residents of Yacht Club Estates over 18 years of age.  There can be no more than one membership from each individually titled piece of property.  Each membership is entitled to one vote at membership meetings.

Working with the Causeway Isles

Yacht Club Estates closest neighbors are the residents of Causeway Isles.  In the past year, the relationship between the two neighborhoods has enjoyed significant progress both through shared social events and working together to address joint neighborhood concerns.
