The Yacht Club Estates Civic Association (YCECA) Web Site is designed to provide our
residents and visitors with rapid and intuitive access to the information about both our
Neighborhood and our local community from a single, convenient Internet resource. In
pursuit of this goal, our website was recognized as Website of the Year in 2009 by the
City of St. Petersburg Neighborhood Partnership Awards.
Yacht Club Estates is a family-oriented St. Petersburg, FL waterfront neighborhood in the Western part of the City, on the Boca Ciega Bay section of the Intercoastal Waterway, situated between the Corey Causeway and Treasure Island Bridges. Yacht Club Estates consists of 367 single family dwellings, of this total 95% are on waterfront lots. In our water oriented community almost all homes have docks and the majority of these have boats (either power or sail). Swimming, fishing and boating are favorite hobbies of residents.

| Speeding on 79th Street - A Serious Safety Concern This is an issue that can no longer be ignored. Both the YCECA Board and the CINA are are involved in seeking resolution, but it will require everyone's help and cooperation to resolve this before drastic measures, such as speed bumps, are demanded. Talk with you neighbors and family, especially your teenage drivers, and observe and report incidents. |

| Median Beautification The Beautification Committee has had a very busy and productive spring. Improvements to the median areas include: 1) trimming of all trees and shrubs, 2) new landscaping at the entrance sign, 3) refurbishing of the park benches and resealing of the underlying pavers, and 4) new flowering plants and re-barking of the median tips. Enjoy these improvements as you walk or drive down 79th Street. |
